Current Camera: Cannon EOS 7D
Camera: Canon EOS Rebel T1i (broken)

Review: Great Canon Starter camera. I wanted to get the cheapest dslr camera on the line, but which also included video recording. This seemed to meet
what I wanted. It takes great pictures and great video, even the audio is decent. I had this camera for about about 2 years. It came with a kit lens, which i talk about
below, that led me to take, what I thought were amazing high Quality pictures. I used this camera for a year in a Digital photography class at school, and It was great.
I never knew about other lenses till just recently haha, so I had a lot of fun with just the kit lens. All in all, I'm glad I started with this camera, probably in the future I will
upgrade the camera to something higher up on the canon line!
Future camera wish list:
EOS 50D
EOS-1Ds Mark III

EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens
Kit lens
This Lens is a great starter lens to take decent shots. Used it for over a year, before I purchased New lenses. After getting the new lenses,
I have not used this lens since. It might come in handy when i do indoor portraits or basic indoor shots.
______
Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM Lens for Canon SLR Cameras
Link: [link]
I love the close up of things, It takes great flower pictures and I want to find more bugs to capture
The shots turn out amazing, I love the f/2.8. It does sometimes freak out and zoom in and out, but once I get it situated the shots are so cool!
this macro lens also takes great portraits
______
Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras
Link: [link]
Got the lens, It is my go to lens, Even when shots are like 40mm away, i just scoot back and zoom in, Really nice camera lens haha
It is heavier then I thought would be, but weight doesn't bother me haha, jeez people work out some
camera at all times. The best part is the sharpness of this!! I use it for all of my main shots such as the zoo haha
______
Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras
Link: [link]
This wide angle lens is amazing!!, I love the cool shots I can do with it, I have yet to take any great landscape shots yet, but testing it out at the zoo i was impressed. This
is definitely one of the sharpest lenses I got haha! love it!

Canon Speedlite 430EX II Flash
Link: [link]
- This flash works fairly well for me. I use it on the horseshoe, or with cable. Perfect for my macro photography, the flash makes it so the camera can get enough light
where it can be hand held. Also goes great to light up a room, people's faces, and more lighting effects compared to the built in flash. It can Rotate around and I can
Bounce it off the walls, really nice. The flash also is good at giving the right amount of light.
______
Manfrotto 498RC2 Ball Head with Manfrotto 055XPROB Pro Tripod Legs
Link: [link]
Link: [link]
- This tripod set up is decent. It is heavy and sturdy which is what I like. I am sure there is a better tripod, but
for me after, moving to a bullhead, anything will work haha
and slow shutter speed needs.
______
"Aputure" Pro Coworker Wireless Remote
Link: [link]
- This remote works perfectly. I just dangle the transmitter off the camera, or at times tape it to the tripod and take
the photos with the wireless remote. The Remote can work without having to point it at the front of the camera.
It works exactly as I want, No camera shake and no loss of signal or malfunctions. The one con is the remote doesn't
turn off. I just remove the tiny battery when not in use. It's not a common battery. All in all it is great though
______
Canon Deluxe Photo Backpack 200EG
Link: [link]
- This backpack is perfect!, It fits all of my equipment in it(removed the kit lens from the bag, with a 50mm fixed lens)
It is easy to just set down and switch out the lenses I need. Eventually I would Like to get a second camera for easier
lens switching, but for now it will do. it has special spots to hold memory cards, my batteries, and all my lens hoods/filters.
I can also easily unzip my bag and pull out my camera from the top. Great bag for beginner
______
Cleaning Kit / Lens hoods / filters
- The rest of my film equipment is some cleaning gear, lens hoods and filters for my lenses.
I won't go into much detail here, but I recommend getting any UV filters at least to protect the glass in the lenses.
